Donations

I'm as surprised as anyone to be writing this page. Soup Kitchen, Inc. is set up
as a regular c-corp. But a funny thing happens when you make your business
about doing good. It seems that with a surprising regularity, people are offering
to give me money without even wanting soup. (Maybe it's a southern California
too hot for soup weather thing).

It took me a moment to figure out what to do with this extra generosity. Then
I realized that I could put the funds towards the soup samples I have to hand
out in the normal course of marketing. This way I can hand out a sample when
needed and still match it when it comes time for a donation.

I like to call it my "sample sales"

So I stand here (ok, sit here) not with an open hand, but with an open heart
accepting all good that comes my way as we end world hunger together.
